One product · your choice of assistant
Choose the assistant that finishes your setup
One product. One machine-based license. The installer does the same work either way — your assistant is what finishes setup afterwards, and you choose which one. There is no separate Codex add-on or second purchase.
Claude Code
Recommended defaultPick this for the most proven path on Mac or Windows. Claude Code is the command-line tool that runs in your terminal—not the Claude desktop app or claude.ai.
Paste the prompt the installer gives you and Claude Code takes it from there, checking its own work as it goes.
Codex CLI
Mac path availablePick this if Codex is already your daily coding agent. The installer hands you a Codex version of the same finishing prompt, and Codex completes setup the same way Claude Code would.
Windows instructions are prepared; live validation is pending.
License expectation
The license follows the computer, not the AI tool. Switching between Claude Code and Codex CLI on the same registered computer reuses that machine slot.
Privacy and permissions
Your vault contents stay local. The server receives the license-check ID and install evidence—not your notes. If a legitimate write is blocked, support may ask you to retry in full install mode.
